◎ avoid 和 prevent 都有 '避免' 的含意，但用法不同: 

￭ avoid : 指 避開、逃避 或 避免 (某人或某事物)。
例句：
We should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun at midday in the summer.
我們應該避免在夏天中午時長時間曝露於陽光下。
