學英語易犯的錯誤

◎ weather 和 whether 兩字發音相同，意思差很多、很容易不小心就拼錯。 

￭ weather : 指 天氣。
例句：
The weather in England is temperamental.
英國的天氣喜怒無常 ( 千變萬化)。 

￭ whether : 是 連接詞，指 是否。 有時whether 用於間接疑問句時可用 if 取代。
例句：
I don't know whether John can complete the task in time.
[= I don't know if John can complete the task in time.]
我不知道約翰是否能及時完成這項任務。
