學英語易犯的錯誤

拿來、拿去或去拿來

 

◎ '拿' 是我們幾乎每天都會用到的字，中文的拿來、拿去都是同一個'拿'字，英語卻依情況而有不同的 '拿'，用錯了有可能引起誤解。 

￭ hold：這是最單純的 (用手) '拿'著某物 。
例句：
"Can you hold the picture while I bang the nail into the wall?"
"你能拿著這幅畫、我來把釘子敲進牆壁好嗎?" 

￭ take ：這是指 '從某處取某物' (例如：從冰箱拿牛奶) ，
例句：
"Can you take the cake out of the oven please? I think it's done."
"能請你把烤箱裡的蛋糕拿出來好嗎? 我想它已經烤好了。" 

￭ bring：這字指'說話者拿著某物到某處'，也指 '把某物從甲地拿到乙地或拿到說話者所在之處'，
例句：
"I'll bring a bottle of wine to your party."
"我會拿 (/帶) 一瓶酒去你的派對。"
